Big Intervale Campground

Big Intervale Campground sits on the Aspy River at the base of North Mountain in Cape Breton Highlands National Park, approximately 10 kilometres from Cape North along the Cabot Trail. This small Parks Canada site offers five unserviced campsites with pit privies, campfire facilities, and access to hiking trails. The campground operates from mid-May to late October with self-registration payment. No potable water or firewood is available on-site; firewood must be purchased at the Cheticamp or Ingonish visitor centres. The riverside location provides a convenient stopover for travellers exploring the northern section of the Cabot Trail.
