Blackbird Flat Camping Area is an abundant, grassy site situated on the bank of the Macleay River. It's an adventurer’s dream with ample opportunities for fishing, swimming, and canoeing. For the comfort of visitors, there's a sizable covered picnic area. Please be advised, the onsite water tank is not equipped for drinking purposes. Enjoy an immersive experience in nature that's perfect for family outings, solo explorations, or group camping trips.

There is a large covered picnic area with a rain water tank, however the water from the tank is not suitable for drinking.

How to Get There

73km west of Kempsey on the Armidale Kempsey Road. No caravans allowed west of this point on this road.
