Bool Lagoon Game Reserve, located in southern Australia, is recognized as one of the largest and most diverse freshwater systems in the region. It serves as a vital habitat for a host of wildlife, particularly offering a significant drought refuge to numerous rare and endangered bird species. This unique seasonal wetland attracts up to 150 species of birds, including the spectacular Brolgas. Visitors to Bool Lagoon can embark on a remarkable walk, spanning 500 metres, on the boardwalk situated amidst the wetlands, giving them an enchanting experience of "walking on water". The picturesque surroundings, coupled with the diverse sounds of wetland creatures, provide a captivating ambiance. Further adding to the reserve's charm, a detour to Big Hill offers visitors an expansive view of the vast wetlands. A drive down Bool Lagoon and Moyhall Roads leading to Little Bool Lagoon also presents a delightful experience. The open water of Little Bool Lagoon plays host to a diverse range of waterbirds, thereby making it a favourite spot among visitors.

Proceed to waypoint 18km south of Naracoorte on Riddock Highway. Turn west onto Bool Lagoon Road and continue for 6.3km. Turn right and follow road to game reserve.
