Boultons Crossing Reserve, also known as Gumma Reserve Camping Area, sits on the mesmerizing north coast of NSW, near Macksville. This ecologically restful spot offers facilities such as a boat ramp, making it a perfect haven for fishing enthusiasts. The area is equipped with modern flushing toilets and access to tank water, ensuring a pleasant stay. The campsite lies majestically on the bank of the scenic Warrell Creek, which flows into the vast Nambucca River, approximately 9km north of the campground. The luminous landscape can become a bit muddy post-rain, a common occurrence in this region, and the last few kms approach road is an unpaved dirt path sometimes needing upkeep. Policies at the campsite frequently evolve, including rules concerning pets, so it's always a good idea to touch base with the council before planning your visit. When dogs are permitted, there is a nominal fee for them per night. This tranquil hideaway, teeming with natural beauty, promises a rejuvenating retreat from the humdrum of daily life.

Turn east into Partridge Street at Macksville Pool & Aquatic Centre, then left into Wilis Street and right into River Street. Signs to Boultons Crossing / Gumma Reserve will then show you the way. River Street changes name to Gumma Road, go up the rise, take the second turn at Boulton's Crossing to the left. On western bank of Warrell Creek, 8km from highway.
