Bulahdelah Showground, nestled in a peaceful location away from traffic, is a popular stopover town spot on the Pacific Highway, boasting local amenities such as a bakery, cafes, restaurants, and pubs. The area offers powered and unpowered camping with plenty of outlets, ideal for those attending booked events at the showground arena. However, general overnight stays are limited to motor homes and recreational vehicles, with stays restricted to certain areas and specific conditions. This includes a maximum stay of 3 nights (Monday to Friday) with no weekend stays allowed, and sites to be cleared by 8 am each Saturday. Holidaymakers are advised to contact the Bulahdelah Visitors Information Centre for more details.

With the highway bypass taking traffic from the town, businesses are concerned about their ongoing future. This is a friendly town with good services including cafes, restaurants, a bakery and pub. There is boatramp access on the northern side of the river. The location of Bulahdelah makes it a good stopover town if you are travelling on the Pacific Highway and don't wish to push the pace. ======================== Contributed by a member. Overnight Stays in association with a Booked Event Camping, in association with a booked event at the showground arena, is permitted. To book a site please contact the event organiser who will in turn notify the Bulahdelah Visitors Information Centre. General Overnight Stays Due to the limited facilities this showground has to offer, overnight stays is not permitted, unless the vehicle is a self contained motor home, or Recreation Vehicle. Self contained caravans is not classified as a recreation vehicle. Council has set aside a portion of the Bulahdelah Showground to be used periodically by motor homes. Please refer to the Site Plan for Motor Home Camping which identifys what areas of the showground is designated for Motor Home stays. Please note, there is no waste water dump point located in the showground. In addition, there are strict requirements if you intend to use the site for an overnight stay. These include: Overnight stays can only occur in designated areas Fees are to be paid at the Bulahdelah Visitors Information Centre and in advance of your stay. Receipts are to be displayed on the dashboard of your vehicle or another easily read location. Maximum stay is 3 nights Monday to Friday only. No weekend stays are permissible. All sites must be cleared by 8am each Saturday. All vehicles are to be totally self contained. Occupation of a site is limited to 4m beyond the edge of the vehicle All rubbish must be removed from site. Max number of motor homes per area is 3 in areas 1,3,& 4 and 2 in area 2
