A disabled toilet and shower is also available. The area is suitable for camper trailers, caravans and motorhomes. Fifty-two powered sites are available throughout the grounds with water now available to the majority of sites. Pets are welcomed at the discretion of the caretaker. The society welcomes caravan clubs, motorhome groups and others wishing to visit the area.Large flat areas are available for big rigs. Cooyar is a small town located approximately 90km north of Toowoomba on the New England Highway. A close-knit community of approx 280, Cooyar residents regularly hold community based events. The town boasts a general store, family-friendly hotel, primary school, community hall, police station and post office.
