Forges Bend Camping Area is a beautiful and versatile camping spot located along the serene Murray River. The campsite offers two separate camping areas to cater to distinct preferences. Camp No. 1 is best suited for beach lovers, boasting an open beach layout and providing more sun. This camp comes equipped with a clean, modern longdrop toilet. On the other hand, Camp No. 2 offers a denser environment, perfect for those who prefer some shade and is more suited for bigger rigs. Both camps provide direct access to the bank of the Murray River, making this an excellent location for launching a tinny and exploring the tranquil river. While the spot offers a consistently relaxed vibe, certain elements bring excitement, such as the fast current of the deeper parts of the river. Alongside water fun, Forges Bend also offers walking and cycling tracks for the land-lovers. Mobile signal for Telstra and Optus users is available though it might fluctuate occasionally. The area's shallow water and clean sand make it a safe and family-friendly spot, perfect for children to enjoy.

No GPS recognition past Murray Valley Highway. Proceed to waypoint on Murray Valley Highway. At waypoint turn north onto Forges Pump Lane. Follow to the end of the road where you cross over a grid into the Reserve. Follow the Forges Bend Track to either No. 1 or No. 2 beach camps. Map pin is at No. 1 Beach Camp. The track to No. 2 camp branches off to the left, while camp No.1 one can be found straight ahead on the main track. Very large rigs are best suited to No. 2 camp. The road to No. 1 camp has a couple of tight spots, but not impossible to get a reasonably large rig in.
