Illaroo Camping Area, set along the picturesque beach near Minnie Water, boasts two expansive campsites, Illaroo North and Illaroo South, equipped with restroom facilities. The region is perfect for all types of camping enthusiasts with its 4x4 access and availability of 60 convenient sites suited to all size rigs. Campers need to bring their own firewood or they have the option to purchase from the National Park Contractor. Please note, the area could be busy during holiday periods and heavily wooded regions might attract mosquitos. However, water is conveniently available at an accessible point in the park. Your adventure, your rules - first come, first served!

Welcome to the serene Illaroo Camping Area which can be reached via Minnie Water, providing two distinct camping sections - Illaroo North and Illaroo South, boasting 60 lush sites in total. Illaroo North holds a larger capacity, with prime beach accessibility. Nestled among the trees, this area offers a tranquil ambiance but may also hold a propensity for mosquitos. 4x4 access is conveniently located north of the larger camp. The area is under the guardianship of National Park, with fees sustainably collected each day. To ensure your comfort, there are three toilet blocks in total, two in the northern, one in the southern section. For those evenings under the stars, it's BYO firewood, or you can support the National Park Contractor with a purchase. Water is accessible from the point at the main park entrance, located just off Minnie Water. Due to the popularity of the camps, especially in holiday seasons, make sure you plan your journey early to ensure your preferred spot. Accommodating all sized rigs, Illaroo is the perfect place for an adventure, providing a true ethos of 'first in, best dressed'.
