Motutapu Outdoor Education Camp

Motutapu Outdoor Education Camp is a charitable trust operating on Motutapu Island in Auckland's Hauraki Gulf. The camp specialises in outdoor education experiences and accommodation for school groups, corporate teams, and family gatherings. Multiple accommodation options include a main camp, lodge and cottage, catering to groups of varying sizes. The island itself is joined to Rangitoto by a causeway and accessible by public ferry, charter boat or kayak. Following extensive pest eradication efforts, visitors can explore regenerating native bush, coastal walkways and birdlife. Contact the trust directly to confirm current facilities, availability and booking requirements.
