Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon National Park offers reservable campgrounds on both rims — Mather on the busy South Rim and the quieter North Rim campground at 8,200 feet. Kaibab National Forest surrounds the park with first-come and dispersed sites among the ponderosa. The South Rim camps year-round; the North Rim season runs roughly mid-May to mid-October.
