Moab & Arches

Moab sits between Arches and Canyonlands national parks, with BLM campgrounds strung along the Colorado River and slickrock desert on every side. Developed sites inside the parks are small and book out early; the river corridor and Sand Flats area absorb the overflow. Spring and autumn are the camping seasons — summer daytime heat regularly passes 100°F.
