While the site provides minimal wind protection and no shade, it compensates with excellent fishing opportunities and a safe swimming beach. The camping grounds feature a predominantly level sandy terrain, accessible by 2WD vehicles except in wet conditions. The beach also allows 4WD access for launching small to medium boats. Even without a boat, beach fishing yields a rewarding catch.
