Ramco Point, a delightful destination situated on the shore of the Murray River, beckons campers with its lush grassy areas and excellent shade coverage, perfect for setting up a cosy outdoor retreat. A mere 6km north-west of Waikeri, this camping haven is conveniently equipped with a boat ramp, opening up a profusion of water-based activities and adventure. Potential visitors should note, however, that after periods of heavy rainfall, it might be prudent to inquire locally about the condition of access roads and flood risks. While the boat ramp and toilet zone showcase a string of 'No Overnight Camping' signs, further exploration along the road reveals a selection of camping-friendly spots, all free of charge. Stay a while and savour a picnic using the furnished tables right by the boat ramp. An added certainty - the sight of plenty of fish playfully leaping above the water surface, serenading the dawn with their dance - a charming spectacle sure to etch Ramco Point in memory.

From waypoint on Cadell Waikerie Road, turn north and proceed for 600m to campsites on river bank. The turn off is right beside the school – easy to miss.
